Why do the new clamp-on style cassettes require a shim to be installed on Hope XD drivers? Where do I get it and how do I install it?

Hope XD drivers are undersized at the clamp location and not technically in the XD standard spec. Due to this, a shim is required to ensure the cassette clamp functions properly. Please see the cassette section of our support site for install instructions. Please contact your local distributor or support@bythehive.com and we will supply one free of charge.

I just bought the TRS Race Cassette 9-46t XD Driver with pinch bolt. When I tighten the pinch bolt on my I9 hubs. It moves and the cassette is not straight. Please help.. do I need a shim or something. something is not right.. If i tighten it to 4 nm as suggested. That's really tight and makes the cassette all warped.
